Ingredients

16ozmilk chocolate,or white chocolate melts, divided

1½cupsrice krispies cereal

20baking caramels,unwrapped

Preparation

Unwrap caramels and press them flat with a rolling pin. Set aside.

Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with waxed paper or parchment paper. Spritz paper with nonstick cooking spray. Spread the caramels evenly across the bottom.

In a microwave-safe bowl, add 8 ounces of either milk chocolate melts. Microwave for 45 seconds. Stir the mixture until smooth. Stir in Rice Krispies until blended.

Melt the remaining milk chocolate following the instructions above.

Spread a piece of waxed or parchment paper on a baking sheet. Dip each square into the chocolate mixture. Spoon chocolate over the square. Place the dipped square on the waxed paper.

Place squares in the fridge for 20 to 30 minutes or until hardened.
