Ingredients

2lbsground beef

1½tsppaprika

2tbspmasa

2tspdehydrated onion,or ½ cup chopped fresh onion

½tspdehydrated garlic,or 1 tsp minced fresh garlic

1½tspsalt

1½tspcumin

½tspcayenne pepper

½cupchili powder

½tsporegano

8oztomato sauce

16ozwater

14ozbeans,(1 can) optional

Preparation

Brown the beef in a large pot or dutch oven. Drain beef.

Add all spices except masa and stir in thoroughly. Add tomato sauce and water. If desired, add the can of beans. Reduce temperature to simmer.

Simmer for about 30 minutes. Mix the masa in ¼ cup of hot water. Stir the masa until smooth. Pour the masa mixture into the chili. Cook until the chili thickens and serve. Enjoy!
