Ingredients

2¾ cups all-purpose flour

1½ cups granulated sugar, plus more for rolling

8½ oz unsalted butter, at room temperature

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp baking powder

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Sift together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl attached to a hand beater, cream the sugar and butter together for roughly 5 to 7 minutes, until pale and fluffy.

Fold the dry ingredients into your wet ingredients until evenly incorporated.

Cover and set the dough aside in a chilled area for roughly 1 hour.

Portion your cookie dough into 2 ounce balls using a scooper. Roll your cookie balls on granulated sugar then place these onto your baking sheet, inches apart from each other.

Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes.

Once your cookies are done baking, allow them to cool on a cookie sheet and serve. Enjoy!
