Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

¾ cup granulated sugar

1 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature

2 eggs

2 tsp baking powder

2 tsp vanilla extract

1¾ lb red apples, preferably Pink Ladies (or Cripps Pink), diced

¾ lb seedless grapes, halved

½ cup pecans, chopped

¼ cup granulated sugar

1½ tsp ground cinnamon

Vanilla ice cream

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Then, grease a baking casserole.

Mix all the dry ingredients for the cake, mixing and working it together until it forms a dough.

Place ½ of the cake mix into a greased baking tray. Lightly press to cover the bottom of the casserole.

Combine all your ingredients for the filling then transfer to the casserole.

Cover with the remainder of the cake mix as much as possible. Having crevices on top is alright. Bake for an hour or until golden brown.

Portion your crumble based on your preference. Serve together with ice cream on the side.
