Ingredients

12 oz beer

1 lb raw shrimp , deveined, except for tails

1 ½ cup ketchup

2 tbsp horseradish, drained

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 tsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp Tabasco Pepper Sauce

Preparation

Fill a large pot ½-full with water and beer.

Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Toss in the shrimp, cover, and turn off the heat for 4 minutes.

Drain the shrimp and rinse with cold water.

In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and tabasco sauce. Mix well.

Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Place the small bowl of sauce on a serving platter.

Arrange the shrimp surrounding the cocktail sauce with tails up.
