Coating:

1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tbsp granulated white sugar

Wet Mix:

¼ cup butter milk, keep in room temperature

4 tbsp unsalted butter, keep in room temperature

1 pc large egg, keep in room temperature

1 tsp vanilla extract

Dry Mix:

¾ cup all purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½ cup milk chocolate chips

¼ tsp salt

½ cup white sugar

In a large bowl, put all your dry mix ingredients. Make sure to mix them together nicely using a whisk, then set aside.

In another bowl, whisk the egg with buttermilk and vanilla extract. When done, set it aside with your dry ingredients.

Now for the third bowl, mix your coating ingredients together. Again, set it aside for the final preparation.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

Using a spatula, carefully pour your wet ingredients to your dry ingredients and mix them well together. Add in your butter and continue mixing until they are well combined, make sure to leave no lumps.

Lightly spray your donut hole pans, then start scooping your batter on one half side of the pan. Cover your loaded pan using the other half of the pan and then lock them together with the clips.

Bake donuts for 10 minutes.

To check if they are done, insert a toothpick in one hole, it should come out with no batter sticking to it.

After baking, do not remove the donuts from the pan just yet. Let them rest for at least 5 minutes.

When your donuts are ready, carefully transfer them to a cooling rack.

One by one, roll each donut hole to your coating mixture, then transfer them to a serving bowl and serve.
