Ingredients
3 cup carrots, sliced, 1/2" thick rounds
3 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. butter, to taste
salt, to taste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation
Place carrots and water in a microwave safe dish. Cover with a plate or lid and microwave on high for about 3 minutes. Check for doneness.
Microwave in 30 second intervals until desired doneness. Drain. Transfer to serving dish, mix in the butter to melt, and season with salt and pepper.
