1 lb macaroni

1 ½ lb lobster meat, cooked

4 boneless skinless chicken breast , halves

1 quart milk

½ cup flour

4 cups cheese, grated

1 ½ cups bread crumbs

8 tbsp butter

½ tsp pepper

½ tsp nutmeg

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

To cook the macaroni:

Boil salted water in a large pot.

Add the macaroni and cook for 8 minutes.

Rinse, drain, and set aside.

To make the cheese sauce:

Heat the milk in a saucepan without boiling it.

Melt 6 tablespoons of the butter in the large pot and add the flour.

Cook over low heat and stir with a whisk for 2 minutes.

Add the warm milk and continue to whisk, cooking an additional minute.

Remove from the heat and add the cheese, the pepper and nutmeg.

To prepare the meat and shellfish:

Cut the chicken into cubes and cook in a large skillet over medium heat for 6 minutes.

Do the same process with the lobster meat.

Assemble and bake:

Add the chicken, lobster, and macaroni to the milk mixture and combine well.

Transfer to a baking dish.

Melt the remaining butter and combine with breadcrumbs.

Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the baking dish and bake for 35 minutes.
