4 cups flour
3 cups granulated sugar
1 ¼ cup cocoa
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 cups tepid water
1 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp vanilla
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Sift all dry ingredients together.
Add water, oil and vanilla.
Mix until smooth.
Add apple cider vinegar last and blend thoroughly.
Pour into ungreased pan right away.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 1 hour or until toothpick or knife comes out clean.
Cool before frosting if you want to frost.
Serve with ice cream if desired.
