8 oz chocolate chips, white and dark chocolate chips

1 cup chocolate syrup

3 cups milk, divided

3 eggs, beaten

1½ cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

¼ cup brown sugar

1 tsp salt

½ cup cocoa powder

½ cup unsalted butter

To serve:

powdered sugar

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, & grease your preferred cake tin.

In a medium-sized bowl, microwave the chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, and 1 cup milk for 2 to 2 ½ minutes or until the chocolate is completely melted and nicely blended.

Sift together baking powder, salt, cocoa powder, & flour. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, beat butter & sugar until creamed & fluffy.

Add your eggs & remaining milk. Mix until evenly incorporated.

Fold your sifted flour mixture, followed by half of the chocolate mixture, into your butter mixture until evenly incorporated.

Pour the cake mixture into the cake tin. Then, slowly place the remaining chocolate mixture on top of the cake mix.

Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Let it cool completely.

Serve with liberal dusting of cocoa powder & powdered sugar.
