Ingredients
1½ cups ice cubes, plus more as needed
4 oz silver tequila, (4 shots)
2 oz lime juice, (2 shots)
2 oz lemon juice, (2 shots)
2 oz orange liqueur, (2 shots), or triple sec
2 oz agave nectar, (2 shots)
salt, for rimming the glasses
1 lime, per serving
Preparation
Place the salt in a shallow dish.
Moisten the rim of each margarita glass with one lime slice.
Roll the rim of each glass in the salt. Set aside.
Pour all your liqueurs and ice into a cocktail shaker.
Cover and shake for 15 seconds until foamy.
Pour even amounts of the margarita into each glass.
Garnish glasses with lime or lemon wedges and serve.
