Ingredients
⅓ cup shortening
6 potatoes, large, peeled and cubed
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
Preparation
In a large cast iron skillet, heat shortening over medium-high heat. Add potatoes and cook, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are golden brown.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Serve hot.
