4 lb chicken wings

3 cup all-purpose flour

4 cup peanut oil , for frying

1 cup saltine crackers, crushed

2 eggs

2 cup buttermilk

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp dried thyme

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Preheat the oil at 350 degrees.

Beat eggs and buttermilk together into a bowl. Put the chicken wings into the mixture and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.

In another bowl mix together the flour, crushed crackers, pepper, thyme, cayenne pepper, salt, and garlic powder.

Remove the chicken wings from the buttermilk marinade and dip them into the breadcrumbs.

Fry the coated wings in the oil for about 10 minutes. Drain the chicken wings on a paper towel lined plate. Before serving sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
