Ingredients

6½ cups apples, (6 to 7 apples), peeled and cut into cubes

¼ cup muscovado sugar

2 tbsp cornstarch

1 tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp ground nutmeg

¾ cup rolled oats

¼ cup whole-wheat flour

¼ cup muscovado sugar

¼ cup applesauce

2 tbsp agave nectar

½ tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp salt

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large mixing bowl, add all your ingredients for the apple mixture. Mix to combine, then transfer into a baking casserole of your choice. No need to grease.

Using the same mixing bowl, add all your ingredients for the crumb topping. Fold until evenly incorporated, then pour on top of your apples.

Spread out your topping evenly to cover the entire casserole.

Bake for roughly 45 minutes or until topping turns golden brown and apples are cooked.

Once you’re done baking, allow to cool briefly at room temperature. Serve and enjoy! Best enjoyed when warm.
