Just the thing needed to celebrate National Garlic Day right?

How To Make Bacon Pasta

This recipe really is incredibly simple. It is made from 5 core ingredients aka garlic, pasta, spring onions (scallions), harissa and bacon. Do make sure you use some really good quality bacon – my preference has been the rather fab British spolitpig bacon, of which I have a whole drawer in the freezer. Then it is also about making some really freshly fragrant garlic paste as smooth as you can. The others ingredients aka pine nuts and cheese are just extras. They are not strictly speaking necessary but they do make the Bacon Garlic Pasta flavours all pop and then some. So I say add them in liberally.

Why Make This Garlic Pasta

This one of those meals that is ready in the time it takes to boil the pasta. So yeah less than 15 mins guys. From start to finish. And it is over-the-top delicious. Perfect for date nights in, quick weeknight suppers and just when you need easy comfort food.  I made a little video (further below) to show you how easy it is to make this Bacon Garlic Pasta. Hopefully, it inspires you to try making it yourself.

Creamy Bacon Pasta

To make this a Creamy Bacon Pasta instead, simply add some double cream (heavy cream) and you are good to go.
