Baby don’t you cry, gonna make a pie. Gonna make a pie with a heart in the middle. The internet is awash with peanut butter pies today. I took time this morning to make one of my own when I should have been working. But this just seemed so much more important. This pie is for Jennifer, a fellow food blogger who lost her husband earlier this week. This was his favorite pie. I am touched and humbled to be a part of such a caring community. I think we’ve all felt Jennifer’s loss, although many of us have never met her in person.
