How To Make Grinch Punch
Get complete ingredients list and instructions from the recipe card below.
Add pineapple juice in a large pitcher and gently stir together sprite, water, lemonade concentrate, and Kool-Aid. Dip the glass rims in water (or sugar syrup or cont syrup) and then into the sanding sugar to coat them.Pour Grinch punch into glasses, add in ice cubes if desired, and serve.
Recipe Tips
You can easily double or triple this recipe for a crowd.You can mix it in a large punch bowl if you prefer.Rim the glasses with red sanding sugar just before serving so the sugar does not all dissolve.
Recipe Variations
This punch is super versatile! Try some of these easy variations;
Reduce the fizz – You can add less fizz to the grinch drink by replacing some of the carbonated soda with juice. Vary the fizz – Feel free to use sparkling water, ginger ale, or another type of clear soda instead of sprite. Use a different green – Lime sherbet or Hawaiian punch is a great choice too. I know people who just prefer to use green food coloring too.Add in fun ice cubes – serve with candy cane, snowflake, santa, strawberry hearts, star etc shaped ice cubes. For other holidays – use black sanding sugar to make this a halloween witches brew, or use orange Kool-aid instead.
Storing
Prep Ahead – This is a great recipe for prepping ahead. Combine all the ingredients (except the sprite) and refrigerate for up to 2 days. Add in the sprite just before serving.
