Ingredients
2 avocados, ripe
¼ cup cilantro, chopped
¼ small onion, diced
½ Serrano pepper, minced (remove seeds and veins)
¼ cup toasted sunflower seeds
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Preparation
Cut avocado lengthwise and carefully remove the pit.
Spoon out avocado pulp into a mixing bowl, and mash it with a fork, leaving a couple of bigger chunks.
Fold in remaining ingredients and salt to taste.
Serve right away, with tortillas or eat it as a spread, over multigrain crackers.
