1 green peppers, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
1 onions, chopped
1 celery stalks, chopped
¾ cups butter
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 ½ lbs smoked sausage, sliced
4 cups chicken broth
3 cups long grain brown rice, uncooked
1 ½ cups tomatoes, chopped
¾ cups green onions, chopped
¼ cup fresh parsley, minced
1 ½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 ½ tbsp hot sauce
¼ tbsp salt
¼ tbsp pepper
In a large skillet, cook smoked sausage until browned.
In the same pan, add and saute the the peppers, onion, celery in butter until the outside is lightly crisped.
Then add the garlic and cook for about 2 more minutes.
Place in a large bowl and stir in all the remaining ingredients.
Pull out your large casserole dish and cover.
Bake this dish at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 45-50 minutes.
Pull out your casserole and stir to thorughly mix up all your ingredients.
