Infused Water Tips

You can use fresh or frozen fruit for making infused water. After you have drunk about half your infused water, simply top it up again with more water. You get a milder but still fruity flavour. For a stronger flavour, you can mash the fruits in the Instant Pot before straining or muddle the fruit in the pitcher. (Keto dieters: this will cause the recipe to no longer be keto.) Alternatively, for a stronger flavour, add more fruit.

How Long Does Infused Water Keep For?

If you keep your Instant Pot Infused water in the fridge then it should last for 3-4 days. If you are doing Infused Water without the Instant Pot then please discard the fruit before storing your water.

Can You Freeze Infused Water?

Great question and the answer is yes. You can make infused water ice cubes. After straining the water, let it cool and transfer into ice cube trays and freeze. You can then simply add the ice cubes to some water, iced tea, mocktails, cocktails, smoothies and more. For a more concentrated infused water ice cube, reduce the water by 1-2 cups when making your infused water in the Instant Pot. Play around with the quantities of water and see what you like. If you are making regular Infused Water, please discard the fruit first after infusing before freezing.
