1 box yellow cake mix, or white cake mix

1 pkg. Jell-O, your choice

1 8- oz. Cool Whip, container

Using a 9x13-inch baking dish (glass or metal), bake cake according to package directions.

As soon as the cake is done, make the Jell-O according to package directions.

Poke holes in top of warm cake and pour hot Jell-O over the cake letting it soak in.

Cool in refrigerator for several hours.

Spread Cool Whip over top of cake.

You can vary this cake.

Try lemon cake mix with lemon Jell-O or strawberry cake mix with strawberry Jell-O.
