3 lb chuck roast

½ cup cornstarch

4 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic cloves , minced

1 ½ cups soy sauce

1 ½ cups water

1 ½ cups brown sugar

2 cups carrots, grated

green onions, for garnish

Cut your chuck roast into thin strips.

Place the pieces and cornstarch. Shake to coat.

Add olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, water, brown sugar, and carrots to slow cooker.

Stir ingredients.

Add coated flank steak and stir again until coated in the sauce.

Cook in high for 2 to 3 hours until cooked throughout and tender.

Serve over a small amount of rice and garnish with green onions.
