Ingredients
4 cup mashed potatoes, (about 8 to 10 large) or 4 cups prepared instant potatoes
1 cup sour cream
8 fl oz cream cheese, 1 package, softened
1 tsp chives, minced
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ cup dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp butter, melted
½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine potatoes, sour cream, cream cheese, chives and garlic powder. Turn into a greased 2-quart casserole. Combine bread crumbs with butter; sprinkle over potatoes.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 to 60 minutes. Top with cheese and serve immediately.
