4 slices white bread, or wheat, country, or brioche loaf bread, cut into ½-inch slices

1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

1 cup peanut butter

⅔ cup granulated sugar

2 tsp ground cinnamon

⅛ tsp salt

Combine the sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir to evenly to incorporate and transfer to a plate.

Spread roughly 1½ tablespoons of butter on both sides of your bread slices. Toss the buttered slices in your cinnamon sugar to coat.

Place onto your lined baking sheet. Bake for roughly 5 to 8 minutes, until the edges start to turn golden brown and butter is foamy.

Flip and do the same on the other side on your slices for another 3 to 5 minutes.

Once baked, set aside at room temperature. Cool down until warm enough to handle.

Spread roughly ¼ cup of peanut butter per toast. You may serve with some berries and drizzle some honey.
