3 lb apples, peeled, cored, and sliced into ½-inch thick rings
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
⅓ cup Red Hots cinnamon candies
Combine all the ingredients except the apples in a skillet to make a syrup.
Cook apple rings in a covered skillet in syrup until tender.
