How To Make Salmon Black Bean Nachos

Preheat the oven to fan assisted 180C / 200C/ 400 F / gas 6. Lightly spray a sheet pan with low-calorie cooking spray. Spread the tortilla chips on the baking sheet so they form an even flat layer. Top the chips with Saucy Fish Co.’s Ready to Eat Sweet Chilli Salmon with Tomato and Chilli Chutney, salsa, tomatoes, sweet corn, black beans, jalapeños and cheese. Bake for 7-8 mins, or until the cheese is nice and bubbly. Remove the nachos from the oven and finish with chopped coriander, sour cream, spring onions and black pepper.

Tips For Making Salmon Black Bean Nachos

Spread the tortilla chips out in a single layer to ensure each each one is coated with delicious toppings. For those who like some heat, you can make these into spicy black bean nachos by adding ground cayenne or chipotle pepper. For a different flavour profile, feel free to change up the ingredients. Try using shredded Monterey Jack cheese, or top with pico de gallo or mango salsa. Don’t forget to serve your nachos with a side of guacamole. Yum!

How Long To Bake Black Bean Nachos with Salmon?

I find that baking in the oven for 7 – 8 minutes gives me nachos that are cooked through with perfectly melted and bubbly cheese. However oven temperatures can vary, so you will want to keep a close eye on your salmon black bean nachos to avoid overcooking and burning.
