Ingredients
1 large onion, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices and separated into rings
⅓ cup maple syrup
¼ cup spicy brown mustard , or country-style Dijon mustard
3 lbs country-style pork ribs, trimmed of fat, cut into 3-inch pieces
Preparation
Place onion rings in 3 ½ to 4-quart slow cooker.
In a small bowl, combine the syrup and mustard. Mix until well-combined.
Evenly spread the mixture over the ribs. Place the coated ribs over onion.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on a low setting for 8 hours.
