Ingredients
2 large eggs
½ cup all-purpose flour, unbleached, (bleached flour toughens baked goods)
½ cup sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, (2 sticks), melted and cooled slightly
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts, chopped
½ cup brown sugar, packed
1 pie shell, unbaked
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs for 3 to 5 minutes until foamy. Beat in flour, sugar and brown sugar until well-blended.
Blend in the cooled, melted butter. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
