8 slices sharp cheddar cheese

8 slices cinnamon raisin bread

1 apple, thinly sliced

4 tbsp sugar

4 tbsp cinnamon

4 tbsp water

8 slices turkey , or leftover turkey chunks, cooked

butter, for spreading

Slice apple and add water, cinnamon, and sugar to them in small saucepan.

Cook until slightly tender and put aside.

Butter cinnamon raisin bread and place fillings like this: slice of cheese, 2 slices of turkey, apple slice to cover turkey, and another slice of cheese.

Top off with another piece of bread and cook until cheese is melted on both sides.

Cut diagonally and serve hot.
