1 can water chestnuts, sliced
soy sauce, for covering
1 package bacon
Parmesan Cheese, shredded kind, for garnish
Line cookie sheets with foil for easy cleanup.
Drain water chestnuts and place in bowl.
Add enough soy sauce to cover chestnuts.
Let stand for 30 minutes at room temperature to marinate.
Cut bacon slices into 3 slices each.
Drain chestnuts.
Place a chestnut on bacon slice and fold.
Put folded sides down on cookie sheet.
Place in oven at 350 degrees F. Bake until bacon is crisp and done.
Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese.
To keep warm, I put them in a crockpot on low. They don’t burn. For 2 pounds of bacon, you will need 2 cans of water chestnuts.
